The Petrol Station series 1-8, September 2010

The Petrol Station project Back in 2008 (or was it 2007?) we made this series of 8 petrol stations. Now we have finally cleansed their digital versions, so here they are again gathered nicely one after another. It is basicly the same petrol station, that is obvious, and that is excactly the point. What happens if we make the same petrol station again but this time at night, or this time with two persons in the foreground, or this time with a small lamp on the counter and so on. Apart from that it simply feels so light and airy to focus on a seemingly super pragmatic thing like a petrol station. One should continue in this vein by depicting colourful products on supermarket shelves.
