The Namur Book Drawings – continued – March 2021

This is a sketch for a painting in the “The Namur Book Drawings”-Series, which is a collection of partly drawn partly painted sceneries which I can’t imagine sillyer* and which one can expect to stand next in line when Per Petri Store opens – not like Cohen after Marianne – but right after the Italian window openings (which on the other hand couldn’t be more classical).

In this one.

It’s Jakob to the right leaning out the car door, actually more like lying flat out on the pavement, drunk. It’s me to the left sitting oh so up right, oh so anxious, but also drunk. It’s the river Meuse to the very left.
